We all love to eat out!
I know nothing beats a home cooked meal but sometimes it’s nice to take a break and let someone else do the cooking.
Going out to eat is also great for prospecting!
I love to prospect waiters and waitresses because they are great MLM prospects.

5 Reasons Why Servers Are Great MLM Prospects

1) THEY DON’T EARN MUCH MONEY

Most servers are working at the restaurant part time or as a second job.
The average salary of a waiter is only $30,000 in the USA.
Some can earn up to $50,000 but those are rare.
With that annual salary they will NEVER achieve their dreams!
Your MLM opportunity can be the perfect solution for them.

2) SERVERS HAVE GOOD PEOPLE SKILLS

They already know how to smile, warm people up with ice breakers and make people feel comfortable.

3) SERVERS ARE GREAT COMMUNICATORS

Servers are great listeners and give people undivided attention when they take orders.
Even after they serve your food, most waiters pay attention to your body language to see if you have finished eating or need help.
Servers also communicate properly to the kitchen so that the right orders are served.
These communication skills will help them get a head start as distributors.

4) SERVERS ARE ALREADY RECOMMENDING THINGS

Servers give recommendations everyday and whether they realize it or not,servers are selling all the time.
Before they take your order, many will “sell” you to try the specials of the day.
When asked for recommendations, servers always confidently recommend what they like.

They’re used to serving customers so serving and helping their future MLM team won’t be an issue.

Script On How To Talk To Servers

Here is a simple script you can use to prospect your server the next time you’re at a restaurant.
After they serve your email, you compliment them.
You: Thanks so much for the excellent service. You’ve been great. I love your attitude!
Server: Thanks (They will feel flattered and grateful)
You: How long have you been working here?
Server: They will give you an answer
You: You must like it here!
Server: Most of the time they will say 1 of 2 things:
1) Yes, I love it!
2) It’s ok… but… and something negative
Regardless of what they say, you then ask them
You: I work with a company and we’re recruiting people that have your people skills. Would you be interested to learn how you can earn extra income part time that won’t interfere with your current job?
When they say yes, then you ask for their phone number or Facebook contact details.
Make sure you ASK and demand their contact info because that creates posture.
If they say “no”, then you simply move on.
There are many more restaurant servers to prospect and hey, it’s your excuse to go eat out again. :)

Most servers may not be interested but a few will.
